Ind. Small Business Caucus meeting across state - WISH

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - A bipartisan group of state lawmakers plans to meet around the state later this summer to discuss small business issues.

The General Assembly's Small Business Caucus will host town halls in towns across northern, central and southern Indiana beginning early next month and continuing through mid-September.

Two of its co-chairs, Democratic Rep. Terri Austin of Anderson and Republican Sen. Carlin Yoder of Middlebury, say they understand small businesses have different needs from the state's larger operations and value their contribution to the Indiana economy.

According to the Small Business Administration, small businesses employ 1.2 million Indiana residents.
