The Babson Entrepreneur Experience Lab is seeking people to take part in a nationwide project that begins in May 2013. We are looking for hybrid thinkers who cross the boundaries of social and economic impact as they build scalable, sustainable, systemic solutions to the world?s most pressing issues.
- Are you working at the intersection of social AND economic impact?
- Do you succeed by cutting across organizational, sectoral, or disciplinary boundaries?
- When seeking investment or mentorship, do you often feel like a misfit or a challenge for people and organizations to place?
- Do you combine resources together in new and innovative ways?
- Do you co-create solutions and in the process, build new relationships that didn?t previously exist?
- Do you work in a new venture/startup, organization, or in a social movement?
If this sounds like you, we?d love to learn about your social innovation experience. Your contribution helps the eLab team map the day-to-day experiences of social innovators. This work aims to craft a new, more expansive definition of what entrepreneurship is and can be. Additionally, we hope to co-develop new ideas for ecosystems that can effectively support social innovators. As part of the project, you receive compensation for your time, but you will also have access to a small community of like-minded entrepreneurs from around the nation who you can connect with and learn from. It?s a great opportunity to gain insight into and showcase your own entrepreneurial process.
Participation
To participate, you need to be available May 6 - May 19, 2013. You must be interested in contributing daily to a private project website in the form of short journal-like posts, photo or video uploads, and contributions to (asynchronous) group discussions. Are You a Social Innovator?
